      This column will contain details on the projects that I am working(ed) on; related materials; datasheets etc. I have worked along with Arvind and a couple of other friends (Arjun, Vinay, Sriram, Arun..) on a few projects ranging from Proximity Sensors to Speech Recognition. This section will contain either schematics of the projects, source code or some useful data sheets that I have collected over a period. This section is not properly organized - someday I will present it in a better manner.

Here is a list of all the projects that I have worked on since my school days.

Projects:

• Speech Processing - Using SAPI, NLP - for command recognition and external equipment control
• Embedded Ethernet and TCP/IP - embedded web server - as a frontend for equipment control
• Low End image recognition - Machine Vision - using webcam
• Remote temperature monitoring systems
• PC based Spectrum Analysers
• PC based DTMF decoders - Remote Control Interface for the PC
• Path Planning algorithms for Robotic vehicles
• wireless data link (IR based) - aborted
• Digital PWM techniques
• Microcontroller based systems
       (mostly using the 8051 platform - would like to migrate to AVRs - pretty difficult to get in India)

Most of the above systems were implemented on an autonomous indigenous networked robot - we are still working on implementing the embedded server interface and stable RF links with the base station.

I know this section is pretty inadequate - I shall some time make this section more useful by adding more data - for now people working on similar projects please mail me.
